U163 - Your machine is prompting you to replace empty cartridges. E04 - The FINE cartridge used in your printer has been installed incorrectly. To remove these cartridges you need to retract the output tray extension before opening the cover. Once the cartridges have been remove you can re-install them by pushing them in until it clicks into place. Close the cover before resuming printing. |
E05 - This error code may cause an orange light on your machine to blink 5 times and is caused by the print head not being installed at all or it may have been installed incorrectly. |
E14 - An orange light may blink 14 times when this error code appears. The code relates to the ink cartridge not being supported by the printer and this may be as a result of the ink tank being sold in a different region to where the printer was originally bought. |
E15 - Referring to occasions when the ink cartridge isn't recognized, this can be solved by lifting the cover of the printer and ensuring the ink cartridge is inserted. |
